Os vereadores de Pindamonhangaba aprovaram, na noite desta quinta-feira (15), a abertura de uma Comissão Especial de Inquérito (CEI) para investigar possíveis irregularidades na contratação de funcionários no Legislativo. O pedido, apresentado pelo vereador Abdala Salomão (PSDB), teria sido motivado pelo "mal estar" causado por um folheto apócrifo que contém denúncias contra os parlamentares e circula pela cidade.
A expectativa do autor do requerimento é que a comissão seja instaurada durante a semana. Pelo regimento interno, a comissão será composta por até cinco membros e o prazo de funcionamento não poderá ser superior a 90 dias, exceto se prorrogada. A norma também impede a participação de vereadores que estiverem envolvidos nas denúncias.
Abdala Salomão justificou o pedido como uma resposta ao povo. "Todo mundo está descrente. Sinto isso no dia a dia, conversando com a população, e esta carta é mais um motivo para apurar as denúncias", afirmou Abdala Salomão. Na opinião dele, as pessoas precisam voltar a ter confiança na Câmara, enquanto instituição, nos vereadores da cidade e a instauração de uma CEI pode ajudar a esclarecer a situação.
Denúncias anônimas
Intitulado como "Carta a População de Pindamonhangaba", o folheto não contém assinatura e faz acusações de ordem pessoal à maior parte dos vereadores. Entre as denúncias figura a existência de funcionários "fantasmas", que sequer aparecem na sede do Legislativo para trabalhar.
Embora a CEI tenha sido instaurada para apurar a contratação de dois funcionários em cargo de comissão sem uso dos trâmites previstos pelo regimento interno, o autor do pedido acredita que a questão dos funcionários que recebem sem trabalhar possa ser discutida durante os trabalhos da comissão.
Outra irregularidade apontada no folheto está relacionada à obra do novo prédio do Legislativo. Segundo o texto, "estão tampando rachadura com alumínio, trincas com massa corrida" e "as janelas estão todas quebradas".
Em plenário, o vereador José Carlos Gomes "Cal" (PTB) discordou das informações ao prédio do Legislativo, explicando que existem apenas dilatações, o que considerou normal. Mesmo assim, o parlamentar admitiu falha de fiscalização na época da construção da obra.
O prédio que abriga o Poder Legislativo foi inaugurado em dezembro do ano passado e consumiu recursos da ordem de R$ 3 milhões, livrando o município do pagamento de cerca de R$ 8 mil mensais, referentes ao aluguel do imóvel onde funcionava a antiga sede.
